magnetic is misleading

I was looking for a dry erase calendar that was magnetic to stick to front of frig - magnetically. The explanation of the item led me to believe that it could do that, however, it does not. Only the front is magnetic so this does not serve my purpose at all. I wasted my money!

Ezrase? Try can't erase!

I purchased the Ezrase magnetic calendar to keep track of all the things that need keeping track of obviously!
It arrived in near perfect condition but dented on one side while opening the packaging. (-1 star) I was very gentle really. The dent is small and on the edge facing away from where anyone in my house can see it, but someone else may not be so keen on a damaged calendar.
The calendar is made from some thin metal which is what makes it magnetic. It also comes with some foam sticky tape which when applied to the back allows you to mount it to a wall or a door or any flat surface you'd like.

Here is where I have to remove 2 stars.
It comes equipped with one black Ezrase dry erase marker by BoardTech. (The maker of the Calendar board)
I have several Expo brand dry erase markers in different colors. I wrote in some dates with the black marker. I then wrote some events with my colored Expo Dry Erase Markers. I made a mistake with one event and tried to erase it. It wouldn't come off.
I rubbed real hard. It didn't come off.
I sprayed in Windex. It didn't come off.
I applied rubbing alcohol. It didn't come off.
I sprayed Fantastic. It didn't come off.
I applied my wife's seabreeze astringent. It didn't come off.
Finally, I tried a small amount of nail polish. The dry erase came off. But so did some of the calendar lines and color.

I tested my Expo dry erase markers on other surfaces including:
Other dry erase boards
My dining room table
The bathroom mirror
The front surface of my refrigerator
They all wiped clean with ease.

I thought well, fine let's see if I can purchase some new EZRASE / Boardtech dry erase markers. Nope, no can do. I tried:

You cannot purchase boardtech / ezrase markers without buying the whole board/calendar with it.

So if you're ok with only one color dry erase marker, this calendar is perfect for you. But you'd better not lose it. Or let it dry out. Or let it get damaged. Because you will never be able to replace it.

NO STARS! Looks good. I was so excited, I even could handle the fact that it used tape instead of magnets to stick it to the fridge. But, when I went to erase MAY, it would NOT erase! At all! I scrubed and scrubed and now the film is entirely worn off!! DO NOT BUY this!!! Very disappointed.

I was looking for a calendar that would stick magnetically to the fridge. This calendar is made of a material that magnets stick too, but you have to use double back tape to hang the calendar itself. I wouldn't have bought it if that had been clearly described.
